Gracias Choir Good Friday, March 25, 2016
In its 14-year existence, Gracias has performed for free in almost every continent for all types of audiences ranging from the Presidents of nations to grade school students in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Theater at Madison Square Garden, Haydn Hall in Vienna, and the Seoul City Hall among others. Under the motto “Music is change”, Gracias is redefining what classical music means for many people.
They don’t just see it as a form of entertainment, but as a vehicle that can deliver joy and change to a person’s heart, no matter what situation they are in. Gracias Choir is establishing music schools in the U.S., Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Kenya, and China with the mission of training young musicians who understand the deep world of music. Every year they visit 40+ countries to perform various concerts and their signature Cantata series to wide acclaim.
The Cantata is free and open to the public.
